Data Analysis on the Cloud for Beginners

This 3 hours instructor-led workshop introduces participants to Data Analysis on the Google Cloud Platform and includes hands-on sessions for the participants, as well.
The session will give you an hands-on starter experience Data Analysis tools on the Cloud including Data Proc, CloudSQL and introduce the Google Compute & Storage platforms. The sessions have been designed for practical and hands-on learning for attendees to kick start their journey.

• Engineers (Mobile, Backend, Database Admins)
• Software Managers - who want a sneak peak on Data Analysis, Cloud technologies.
• CS/IT Students, who know basic programming.

Prerequisites:

• Only basic programming experience would be required.
• No knowledge of Cloud Technologies is required.
• Bring your laptops (charged) for the session.

About the Instructor/Speaker:

Dr. SPT Krishnan: A seasoned professional with 16+ years of industry experience in multiple IT domains. Built several software products, secured and successfully executed multiple partner-­funded projects worth few million dollars. Krishnan has also co-authored the book "Building Your Next Big Thing with Google Cloud Platform", which is the first book that comprehensively covers Google Cloud Platform. The book was launched at Google IO 2015 in May 2015.
